[CartConnect]: Configure New Item Type on Order Export

As part of the new updates to CartConnect (ver 2.80.51.00), we now have the ability to determine how new items are exported to vinSUITE*.  New RMS items can now be exported as First Party Products, or First Party Wines.  This tutorial will show you how to configure your departments in CartConnect for this export.

     *This only affects items that DO NOT exist in vinSUITE.  If the item (SKU) already exists in vinSUITE, then no change is made

1.  Open ProductControl

2.  Select CartConnect and Run Application

3.  On the left, choose "Connections"

4.  Choose the "Vendor Fields" tab on the right

5.  Check the box next to "Set Product Type for new items on Order Export"

6.  Choose

7.  In the new window, select

The RMS Departments are listed on the left, and the Product Type is listed on the right

8.  Click the drop down and select how new RMS items will be created when exported to vinSUITE*

     *This only affects items that DO NOT exist in vinSUITE.  If the item (SKU) already exists in vinSUITE, then no change is made

9.  Once all the departments are configured, click

 

Congratulations!  You have successfully configured the way NEW RMS items will be configured when exported to vinSUITE.
